How do you check the visa status on MOI Qatar?
- Unlock the MOI Qatar website now and gain access to a spectacular array of resources!
- By selecting the “Visa Services” button on the left side of the page in the MOI Qatar app, you can access your visa status quickly and easily. Through this feature, you can see if your visa is still valid or if it has expired.
- The MOI Qatar website has been updated with the latest visa inquiry and printing feature. A new page with four icons will appear once you click the ‘visa inquiry and printing’ text. The first is a binocular illustration, which helps users find their visa status easily. Click on it.
- The updated MOI Qatar webpage has a new section seeking your personal information to check your visa status, such as your passport number or visa number. You can add any of the ones in the required section to continue to check the MOI visa status.
- You will have another section to select below this: your origin county. Before taking the final step to check visa status, complete an extra measure of protection on the MOI app by filling out the security captcha. This will guarantee that your submission is secure and safe!
MOI services
Qatar Ministry of Interior has added more e-services to its online portal for its users easy access. Companies and individuals can apply for visas through the MOI website and check the updates and status online. Many other departmental services are also incorporated with the MOI Qatar website.
Traffic-related enquiries, visa, residential permit services, exit & entry permits, Q post, civil defiance services, national address, PCC inquiries, and supplier registration are all available on the MOU mobile app and website.

Airport security, telecommunications, establishment & authority security, evidence and information, civil defiance, logistics & supply, passport, road traffic, and public transport security. All departmental services are now under Qatar MOI online services.
How do I check the Exit Permit on the MOI website?
- Open this link
- Click on the “exit and entry permit” link- on the left side of the page—3rd button from the top. Once a new page opens, it shows seven icons. Click on the text “leave notification enquiry” ( with a graphic showing a flight taking off).
- It will lead to another page that asks you to put your Qatar ID no.
- Enter the verification code for security purposes.
- Click on the search button.
Once it is done, the Qatar MOI website takes you to another page, showing the status of your exit permit.
How do I do residence permit checking on the MOI Qatar website?
- Open the RP and check the link.
- Click on the “residence permit inquiry link” on the left side, 4th panel. It will lead to a page with four icons.
- Click on the first one (search icon) to check the PR application. To ensure a satisfying journey through the application process, please include your visa and sponsor ID numbers for proper paperwork processing.
- Fill in the security verification code and click on the submit button. It will give you a fresh web page showing your residence permit status.
For renewal tracking, click the 2nd icon leading to the respective page.
Add the Qatar ID Number and the verification code, and click the “submit” button.
