Amravati MP Navneet Rana has said that Arvind Sawant – Shiv Sena MP threatened her for bringing up the Maharashtra crime branch head Sachin Vaze’ case in Lok Sabha. It says in her mail to Speaker that, when she landed in the state, she could go under police custody.
She had escaped from an acid attack twice in the past for racing her voice against the Shiv Sena. She also wants immediate action against him to work women safely in the state.
She had asked the question about Sachin Vaze in Lok Sabha- “On what basis was a man suspended for 16 years and jailed, reinstated? Uddhav Thackeray had taken the initiative to place Sachin Vaze back in the department; the former CM Fadnavis was denied in the last ministry. When Thackeray government came in power with the support of congress, they reinstated him.”
