New trouble has broken out for the ruling CPI-M party in Kerala after Mumbai Police had registered an FIR against state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s eldest son Binoy Kodiyeri of rape and cheating.
A 33-year-old woman from Mera Road in Mumbai, formerly a bar dancer in Dubai has accused Binoy Kodiyeri ( Son of Kerala CPIM leader-Kodiyeri Balakrishnan) of raping her between 2009 and 2018. FIR registered on June 13th at Oshiwara police station under section 376, 376-2, 504 and 506.
The case registered for sexual assault, cheating, and intimidation has already been registered against Binoy Kodiyeri based on the complaint from the Mumbai-based victim, who hails from Bihar.
The victim, a mother of an eight-year-old boy filed a complaint after she discovered that the man Binoy Balakrishnan Kodiyeri, who was having a relationship with her and had promised to marry her was already married.
According to her complaint, Binoy and herself were in a relationship since 2008, when she was working at a dance bar in Dubai.
She said Binoy had promised to marry her, but despite several pleas, he cheated her. After she came to know that he was already married, the woman moves forward to register the police complaint.
