Kerala Janapaksham leader PC George has received death threats for raising love jihad issues.
A man who previously threatened to beat PC George when he showed up at the police station has been recognised as Amin Yusuf, a local from Erattupetta.
He had shared a self-recorded threatening video on social media to terrify George. The controversial video appeared online prior to George losing the recent assembly election in Poonjar.
Regardless of whether he was suspected of committing a non-bailable crime, he had no cause to be jailed during the Covid panedamic. Yusuf decided to surrender to the police station at Erattupetta, allowing him to be freed on bail while the issue was being dealt with.
The Janapaksham party’s former Legislator and the party founder, George, said that it wasn’t the first time he had received life threats. Whenever he defends the truth and challenges corruption, the corrupted team gathers against him.
And when George protested the corruption at Malabar Cements, he has started receiving threatening phone calls, and then his vehicle was bang by a truck, and fortunately, he survived.
