Less than a week after the Rajasthan government recommended a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into controversial land deals allegedly executed by a company owned by Robert Vadra, the agency registered 18 cases of fraudulent and fictitious claims against entities that included a company linked to the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and brother-in-law of party vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
