We’ve seen several accidents that result in selfie delusions, which are frequently discussed on social media platforms. Recently, a similar incident was reported in Tamil Nadu.
The tragedy happened to Sajeev, a 20-year-old young man who took a selfie while sitting on a tractor. Fell into a well along with it and died due to a head injury. He worked for a catering company in Chennai.
The accident took place at Chinnamottur village in Vaniyambadi on Friday. Due to encouragement from friends, Sajeev, who took many selfies on his phone while sitting on the tractor, became more aggressive in taking more pictures and moving the tractor while taking selfies.
Meanwhile, the tractor overturned and fell into a 120-foot-deep well, making irrigation work possible. His friends tried to save his life, but the attempt didn’t work out.
Farmers in the area have informed the police and fire brigade. The tractor and his body were lifted out of the well after draining the water for four hours.
